2/23/2010, The super popular and many times controversial Jane Fonda has recently admitted to having plastic surgery done on her face.
All thanks to recent compliments from a legendary movie producer, Jane Fonda has come forward about her plastic surgery procedures done to her chin, neck, and eyes. The truth came to light, when the 72-year old Fonda wrote all in her blog, along with various other life incidents, such as returning to Broadway, and family issues.
“Bob Evans complimented me on my new, short haircut and I said, ‘Thanks. I just had some ‘work’ done on my chin and neck and had the bags taken away from under my eyes so I decided it would be good to get a new hair cut so people will think it’s my new hair,’” according to Jane Fonda on her blog. “He thought that was so funny he actually toasted me for doing what he said he’d never heard anyone do before: admit they’d had work done.”
“I was planning on blogging about it anyway, so who cares? I’m writing a book about aging so I couldn’t very well NOT talk about it,” added Fonda.
Jane Fonda continues, “It’s been 2 weeks. I was in front of the camera all day yesterday and was photographed at Eve Ensler’s luncheon 9 days after the procedure so, obviously, it went well.”
Fonda says she swore off any additional plastic surgery procedures in 2000; however, she changed her mind this year when she “got tired of not looking like how I feel.”
Although Fonda is still a little bit swollen, the notorious actress is pleased with her new look, which she says still includes her “crow’s-feet.”
“I wish I’d been brave enough to not do anything but, instead, I chose to be a somewhat more glamorous grandma,” said Fonda.
Jane Fonda has always been known for being somewhat “radical” and continues to find a place in the spotlight. However, for 72-years old, Jane Fonda is one good-looking grandmother…and who knows? We may just be seeing Jane Fonda featured on a new reality TV show in the near future…maybe something like, “Grandmas Gone Wild”.
