Added By admin on October 29th, 2009

October 29, 2009, The 50 plus cosmetic surgery market has been experiencing a boom in business, not just for the ever-growing market of younger generations that have saturated the cosmetic plastic surgery market for years now.

Mainly women in the 50 plus market are undergoing cosmetic surgery to combat saggy breasts to face lifts offering them a more youthful appearance. “Many women with large breasts have had discomfort for many years and by the time they reach 50 and over, they decide to do something about it”, says the consultant cosmetic plastic surgeon Norman Waterhouse, one of the founding plastic surgeons of MyBreast and ex-president of BAAPS and/or BAPRAS (The British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and The British Association of Plastic Reconstructive Aesthetic Surgery). Added By admin on October 24th, 2009

A Way To Reduce Scars From Cosmetic Surgery Procedures Unveiled

Added By admin on October 21st, 2009

October, 21, 2009, Scarring is often a major downside to many common cosmetic surgery procedures. Although most scars will disappear over 12 to 18 months, about a third or so of scars tend to be permanent on one’s body, as many patients of cosmetic surgery are being left with unsightly marks and/or a hard raised ridge of tissue, which is a common reminder of one’s cosmetic plastic surgery procedure.

The impact of these scars can be quite distressing for people, especially if they are on everyday visible parts of one’s body such as the face, neck, legs, or arms. Some recent surveys have shown that many people, who have undergone a cosmetic surgery or a routine surgery, were unhappy with the scarring left behind post surgery. More

Adding some Volume to the Face can Reduce the Signs of Aging

Added By admin on October 19th, 2009

Leading La Jolla Plastic Surgeon uses Sculptra(R) Aesthetic as a non-surgical alternative to cosmetic plastic surgery.

October 19, 2009, When it comes to aging, one’s face does not lie. Although gravity alone is not the only determinant of an aging face, some studies have indicated that the loss in volume of soft tissue and bone is at least as equally important to the aging of one’s face. From deep lines to sunken areas around the eyes, temples, nose and jowls, these can all form over time due to loss of volume in the face.

Sculptra® Aesthetic, recently approved by the FDA, is used by many cosmetic plastic surgeons as a non-invasive tool used to increase a patient’s facial volume in order to stimulate collagen production and reverse the visible signs of aging in their face. More
